Upload your utility bill to confirm billing accuracy, understand rate competitiveness, and see how your usage compares — based on your actual bill.
DTE Energy's current residential plans do not use time-of-use peak/off-peak pricing — the standard Time of Day 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. Standard Base Rate (D1.11) plan charges ~11.6¢/kWh regardless of when you use electricity. If DTE Energy rolls out a time-of-use option in the future, peak hours would typically fall during weekday afternoons and early evenings when grid demand is highest. Until then, shifting usage away from peak hours won't reduce your bill, but reducing overall usage (efficient appliances, LED lighting, better insulation) still will.
