PSE&G Solar Programs

Solar energy options with PSE&G. Learn about net metering, solar incentives, community solar, and how to go solar with your utility.

Net Metering

Net metering allows you to earn credits on your PSE&G bill for excess solar energy your panels send back to the grid. The specifics of net metering rates and policies vary by state and utility, so check with PSE&G for current terms.

Solar Incentives

In addition to the federal solar tax credit (30% of installation costs), your state and PSE&G may offer additional incentives for going solar. These can include rebates, performance-based incentives, and renewable energy credits.

Community Solar

If you can't install panels on your roof, community solar programs let you subscribe to a share of a local solar farm and receive credits on your PSE&G bill. This option is growing in availability across the country.
